Milas is a district of Mupla, Turkey. It is an old carpet center and continues to be so, both Milas itself and it's villages.

Milas carpets are made in pale, decorative tones. Produced with vegetable dyes.

The warp, weft and knots are pure wool. The dominant colors are yellow, the color of tobacco, dark and light brown and reddish brown.
