Stop and think about it for a moment. Was there ever a more perfect package in nature than the coconut? It's hard, ships well, fits in your hand, non-skid surface, doesn't leak, aesthetically pleasing color, what more from a container could you want? So, my question is ... What kind of a society have we evolved into that we think we have to shrink wrap a coconut to improve on it in some way for the market place? To take something that is about as perfect as you could get in a container and make it look ugly and "plastic". This is what we have evolved into and I think I will use this area to explore social issues in the future. The more I think about it the more it might be the perfect metaphore of the world that we are creating. If you wish to share your thoughts on this subject just drop me an email (button below).
