Seniors Making Art in Sequim

This is the results of a drawing class instructed by a resident art teacher here on Bainbridge, Irene Clark. The class was held in Sequim Senior Center and funded by Seniors Making Art, a privately funded program that functions nation wide out of Bellevue, Washington.

Irene Clark is a professional artist who has taught extensively through the Bainbridge Island Parks Department for the last eight years. In addition to her public classes she also gives private instruction. Based on her experience and quality of work she was selected to be the instructor for the Sequim Seniors Making Art project.

This is a study of positive shapes, negative space and the unity of composition.
